Documentary: Plasma donor to patient

At the start of 2018 I made 16 films for Octapharma, documenting the journey of plasma from donation, through a wide spectrum of refining processes to becoming a lifesaving medicine for patients. The first film follows Zoran’s 11 year old son, Simon, who was diagnosed with a rare immune disease as a baby and has been using a plasma-derived subcutaneous immunoglobulin (SCIG) for 10 years. There are 15 other films on Octapharma’s website that explore some of the processes plasma can go through, as well as introducing some of the talented team at Octapharma. Huge thank you to everyone that worked with me making these films, the creative teams at Luminous and Octapharma.

“It was just perfect for me to donate plasma with the company which makes my son’s medicine”. Zoran’s 11 year old son, Simon, was diagnosed with a rare immune disease as a baby and has been using a plasma-derived subcutaneous immunoglobulin (SCIG) for 10 years. Watch this family’s story.
